Do you love lasagna but hate the mess of making it? Even with no-cook noodles you have so many dirty dishes and a lot of time invested just to get it assembled and into the oven. Well, here is an easy substitute that goes together quickly with less mess and it’s very similar to lasagna. Give it a try and let us know what you think, good substitute or not?
Ravioli Casserole
28 oz. jar spaghetti sauce
25 oz. package frozen cheese ravioli, cooked and drained
2 c. small-curd cottage cheese
4 c. shredded mozzarella cheese
¼ c. Parmesan cheese
Spread ½ cup of spaghetti sauce in an ungreased 13 x 9 baking dish. Layer with half of the ravioli, 1/1/4 cups of sauce, 1 cup of cottage cheese and 2 cups of mozzarella cheese.
Repeat layers. Sprinkle with the Parmesan cheese. Bake, uncovered, at 350 degrees for 30 to 40 minutes or until bubbly. Let stand 5 to 10 minutes before serving. Yields 6 to 8 servings. Four to Five cups of any style cooked ravioli may be substituted for the cheese ravioli.
Enjoy!
