At Bellomo & Associates, education has always been at the heart of what we do. While much of our work focuses on teaching families how to protect their loved ones, we’ve also seen how powerful it can be to equip other professionals with the knowledge they need to guide their clients.
That’s why we created our free professional boot camps—unique educational events designed for social workers, nurses, financial professionals, administrators, and others who want to better understand the complex legal and financial issues that often affect their clients.
Why We Started the Boot Camps
Our very first boot camp drew nearly 80 social workers. Their enthusiasm confirmed what we already suspected: professionals across Pennsylvania are eager for practical, easy-to-understand education on estate planning and elder law.
The demand quickly grew beyond social work. Nurses, nurse practitioners, CPAs, CFPs, insurance agents, administrators, and other professionals all wanted to attend. To meet that need, we developed a multi-professional boot camp where attendees can learn together, earn continuing education credits (CEUs), and walk away with valuable resources they can use every day.

From the fundamentals of estate planning to more advanced strategies, the boot camps are designed to be practical and accessible. Topics include:
- Wills, trusts, and the probate process
- Taxation and asset protection

- Beneficiary designations
- Medicaid and crisis planning basics
Every participant receives a comprehensive take-home binder—a resource that many professionals tell us becomes one of their most-used references long after the event.

Education is just the beginning. After the training sessions, we host a lively networking reception where professionals from a wide range of fields can connect. It’s a fun way to strengthen community partnerships and discover new opportunities to collaborate in serving clients.
