About

Danielle comes to Bellomo & Associates with over 20 years of experience in the world of Social Work as the second Client Care Advocate joining the Life Care Planning team. Often referred to as “Meg 2.0”, she is a Licensed Social Worker having earned her Bachelor of Social Work with a Sociology minor from Lock Haven University and Master of Social Work from the University of New England. From North Central PA, Danielle grew up an only child discovering her passion for helping others while attempting to understand the reasoning behind human behavior. She has worked throughout the lifespan from coordinating therapeutic services for infants and toddlers in Early Intervention to assisting individuals as a hospice liaison during their end-of-life journey. Other pursuits have included arranging mental health services for struggling adolescents, performing audits as a state contractor within the Medicaid Waiver program, establishing a Case Management department for a local home care agency, and discharge planning for adult inpatient rehab. Her most recent endeavor as a Home Health Social Worker allowed her the ability to support individuals overcoming a medical decline or transitioning home from a hospitalization. Danielle is a newly Certified Dementia Practitioner and is working toward her Notary Public. She is a proud fire wife who enjoys spending time with her family including husband and York City Firefighter Derik and their 2 Jack Russell mixes, Rocky and Chewy. Other interests consist of gardening, decorating, attending craft shows and festivals, going to the theatre, and watching Steelers football. Danielle is excited to share her life’s purpose as a new member of the Bellomo family and looks forward to continuing their legacy of maximizing quality of life through education and advocacy.
