Give Local York – Support Our Seniors

May is National Elder Law Month, a designation which brings public awareness and, hopefully, opportunities to reflect and acknowledge the value seniors have provided to their respective communities throughout their lives. In York County, a great way to support seniors in our community is to participate in “Give Local York.”

Client_id_332_site_logo_1519749751.0311This event is presented by the York Federal Follows Alumni Association and their stated goal is to “…inspire York Countians to come together, show pride in their community and contribute to support the life-changing work of local nonprofits.” These organizations provide invaluable services and resources to York County seniors and their families.

A 24-hour online giving spree is scheduled for May 4, 2018 from 12:00 a.m. to 11:59 p.m. Supporters will have the option of selecting which organization will receive their contribution. Give Day will also include many other special events. We encourage you to get more details at www.givelocalyork.org.

Please mark your calendars and consider making a contribution to support the seniors of our community.
