Thank you York County for voting me best of York lawyer 2018.

I am humbled and honored that the people of York County have voted me Best Lawyer 2018.  Words cannot describe how much it means to me to know that the clients and families with whom I have worked over the years have by their votes given me this honor. I am humbled, as there are many excellent attorneys in York County, certainly among them my fellow nominees, and we are in York County are lucky to have so many fine, skilled attorneys.

Best of york 2018 (002)Therefore, it is especially meaningful to me that past and current clients took the time to vote for me, and it certainly does impress upon me that many people are thankful for the work that we have done, specifically for the senior community of York County, and for that I will be forever grateful and humbled.

In 2009, my business partner Nate Platt and I left our fulltime jobs and went out on our own when our wives were pregnant.  We opened a practice that was exclusively devoted to estate planning and elder law, and although it probably didn’t make a whole lot of sense at the time, here we are in 2018.  Although Nate is not with me anymore, I will be forever grateful to him for giving me the courage to do what we did and for helping me create and nuture the law practice that I have today. Thank you for that, Nate.

I also want to emphasize that I would not be in a position to receive this honor if it were not for the incredible members of my team, all of whom daily dedicate themselves to our clients and families, and to assuring that their experience with us is one that they remember and appreciate.

Please know that, although, like all mortals, I am not perfect, I do and will always work incredibly hard for the families whom I represent.  Again, thank you to all those who voted for me for taking the time to acknowledge that work by voting me York County’s Best Lawyer 2018 for the second year in a row.
