Krista recently joined Jeff Bellomo on the Bellomo & Associates podcast to talk about her journey, her passion for helping others, and how she helps build meaningful connections between our firm and the local community.
From Healthcare to Helping Families Plan for the Future
Before joining Bellomo & Associates, Krista spent years working in the healthcare field. She served as a medical assistant, a nursing assistant, and worked in hearing aid services. Her background in patient care taught her the value of listening, empathy, and staying organized. These are qualities that she brings to her role every single day.
Krista first discovered Bellomo & Associates when she attended one of Jeff’s educational boot camps. She could immediately tell that Jeff was speaking from the heart. She had already heard great things about the firm’s culture and the way team members are supported. When the opportunity to join the team came up, it felt like a natural next step.
A Heart for Community and Connection
Krista’s role involves planning many of the events that help us stay connected to the people we serve. From weekly educational workshops to client appreciation gatherings and the much-anticipated Red Wagon Club Annual Picnic, Krista helps bring our mission to life in fun and meaningful ways.
She also builds relationships with businesses, professional partners, and other organizations in the community. Whether it is coordinating a Boot Camp for professionals or scheduling a casual networking event, Krista makes sure every detail is thoughtful and welcoming.
Her warmth, energy, and attention to detail help create spaces where people feel heard, understood, and supported, both in planning for the future and in the present moment.
Supporting Clients Beyond the Documents
One of Krista’s favorite parts of her work is supporting members of our Red Wagon Club. These clients receive ongoing support through our Legal Hour, where they can speak directly with our attorneys every week. They also benefit from complimentary updates to their estate planning documents any time there are changes in the law or their situation.
Krista helps coordinate these efforts, making sure that clients are not just prepared for today but confident about tomorrow. Estate planning is not a one-time task. It is an ongoing relationship, and Krista plays a big role in keeping that relationship strong.
